1. Who you are contracting with
MoneyMap (the "Service") is operated by Devin Huang and Vishnu Prabu ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you ("you", "user") enter into these Terms & Conditions with Devin Huang and Vishnu Prabu.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By continuing to access or use MoneyMap, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
3. Account eligibility and age representation
By creating an account or purchasing a subscription to MoneyMap Pro, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You also confirm that you have authority to enter into these terms and, if accepting on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization.
4. The Service
MoneyMap is strictly a self-directed budgeting utility and software tool, designed primarily for high school and college students to manually track income and expenses, set their own budgets, and work toward self-defined savings goals. MoneyMap is not a financial institution, broker, dealer, investment adviser, tax adviser, or lender, and does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All decisions made using the Service are entirely your own. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
- send spam, malware, or any malicious code;
- infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
- probe, scan, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical limits of the Service;
- resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
6. Intellectual property
MoneyMap, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Devin Huang and Vishnu Prabu and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan and these terms. Any content you submit to the Service remains yours; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
Parental consent for minors. MoneyMap is built for high school and college students. If you are under 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian before purchasing MoneyMap Pro or any other paid plan. By starting a paid subscription, you represent that either (a) you are at least 18, or (b) your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms and authorized the purchase and any recurring charges on the payment method used. We may cancel a subscription if we reasonably believe it was purchased by a minor without parental consent.
Our order process and all payments are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics for paid plans are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from within the app or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled in line with our Refund Policy, which provides a 14-day refund window from the order date.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts owed, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will continue.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. MoneyMap is strictly a self-directed budgeting utility and software tool and does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Information shown in the Service is for general and educational purposes only; you are solely responsible for your own financial decisions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
